I did see an option to "uninstall" the printerīut did not attempt that because I feared I would be making the matter worse, I dunno. On Devices and Printers, it appears with the generic "USB Printer" ID instead of the old specific ID "Epson Stylus Photo R200" and if I right click on it, I do not have a choice to make it the default printer.
I can disconnect the cable and my PC recognizes this with the expected downbeatīUH-Buh sound, and when I reconnect it, my computer sees that too, with the upbeat buh-BUH This printer is cabled to my computer, not wireless.

I mean, the printer is not itself broken, only that it won't work with my Win10 computer now. Once I had accepted the online upgrade to Win10, this printer is no longer functional. I'd been using successfully and for a long time an Epson Stylus Photo R200 on my HP desktop PC with Win 7.
